ESCAPE HATCH ENTERTAINMENT REVEALS STARLIGHT TACTICS
Tactical Combat in the Starlight Universe
JANUARY 5, 2015 AUSTIN – Escape Hatch Entertainment, LLC today announced the development of Starlight Tactics™, an upcoming turn-based tactical space combat game in which you assume the role of Commander in a conflict which spans our star system. Starlight Tactics is planned for iOS, Android, PS4, XBOX One, PC, Mac, Linux and PS Vita (pending Unity 4.6 or 5.0 engine support).
In Starlight Tactics, players will reenter our star system a hundred years from tomorrow, where World War IV has erupted. Starlight Tactics will draw upon the rich mythology established in Starlight Inception, Escape Hatch Entertainment’s breakout game on Playstation Vita, Steam (and upcoming on Playstation 3 and Playstation 4). Starlight Inception was the first space combat game in its genre offered on the Vita.
Starlight Tactics is the new game from Garry Gaber, twenty-two year game industry veteran and formerly of LucasArts, where he acted as the project leader of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns.
“Tactics promises to be something new and original - a game set in the Starlight universe that takes place at the capital ship level - players will be able to control both United Star Force and Non-Aligned Nations Destroyers, Cruisers and Carriers in two full campaigns,” said Garry Gaber, the President and Chief Creative Officer of Escape Hatch Entertainment. “We have a skirmish mode as well for players who just want to quickly jump into the action.”
Added Melissa Gaber, Vice President of Escape Hatch Entertainment, “Starlight Tactics is designed to be cross-platform from the ground up, using the Unity Game Engine. It allows us the freedom to deliver this game on multiple platforms while sharing the same codebase and much of the same art and UI elements. Both hardcore and casual gamers should find a really rich experience no matter what platform they choose to play.”
Starlight Tactics is planned for a 2015 release.

Starlight Inception Vita gets release date

We are proud to announce the release date for Starlight Inception PlayStation Vita.
Starlight Inception is a digital download available in English, as well as subtitled versions in French, Italian, German, Russian and Spanish. This release is set to launch on April 22nd, 2014 in Sony North America territories and April 23rd, 2014 in Sony European territories.

Starlight Inception adds Sony PS3 to release platforms

Starlight Inception has added the Sony Playstation 3 as a target platform for its release in August of 2013. We are thrilled to be able to offer the game on this additional platform - we believe the capabilities of the device are well suited to showcase our game and its many facets.

With just 26 minutes to spare, the Kickstarter for Starlight Inception funded! In just one day, the campaign brought in 1029 backers, and funded at $158,152. We became the 14th highest funded game on Kickstarter and the 11th highest funded video game.
